Fulham are preparing for the visit of Tottenham this weekend in the Premier League, as the two London clubs face off.
This is one of very few top-flight games this weekend due to the FA Cup quarter-finals postponing matches up and down the country.
Tottenham arrive in west London off the back of an excellent 4-0 win at Aston Villa, which has seen them close the gap on the top four.
A win here for Ange Postecoglou‘s men would briefly take Spurs above Villa into the Champions League spots.
Meanwhile, Fulham are looking to bounce back from a 2-1 defeat to Wolves and build on wins over Manchester United and Brighton.
The Cottagers have remained comfortably in midtable this year and will be looking to beat Spurs for the second time after sealing victory in the Carabao Cup earlier in the season.

Fulham vs Tottenham: Spurs’ revenge
Tottenham were knocked out of the Carabao Cup in August when they travelled to Craven Cottage and lost on penalties.
The game ended 1-1 before the hosts scored every one of their spot kicks, while Davinson Sanchez missed his for Tottenham.
Of course, the defender has now left, and Spurs have gone on to have a good year.
However, that was definitely a chance for Postecoglou to win a trophy, given Liverpool won it with nearly half their first-team squad missing.
At the time, the Australian manager didn’t seem too bothered, but looking back, he must see it as an opportunity missed.
So, this is a chance for a little bit of revenge, while Fulham will hope to half Tottenham’s run towards the Champions League.
- Fulham have lost 14 of their last 16 Premier League games against Tottenham (W1 D1), and are winless in nine (D1 L8) since a 1-0 win at White Hart Lane in March 2013.
- Tottenham have won each of their last seven Premier League away games against Fulham, their joint-longest run of away league victories against an opponent (also two runs of seven against Aston Villa).
- Fulham have won their last two Premier League home London derbies, beating West Ham 5-0 and Arsenal 2-1 in December. They’ve never won three consecutive such matches in the top-flight before.
Fulham vs Tottenham: Team news
Incredibly, Marco Silva has a fully fit squad to choose from.
Willian and Raul Jimenez are back, although Rodrigo Muniz is likely to continue leading the line.
Joao Palhinha returned from a two-match ban for picking up ten yellow cards last week and will likely start here.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are still without Manor Solomon and Ryan Sessegnon.
Micky van de Ven suffered a hamstring injury at Aston Villa and will sit this one out.
However, Richarlison is back in training and could be in contention.
- Tottenham have lost just one of their last 10 Premier League London derbies away from home (W3 D6), and are unbeaten in six (W3 D3) since a 3-1 loss at Arsenal in October last season.
- Only the current top five clubs and Newcastle have won more Premier League home games than Fulham this season (8). The Cottagers’ eight home wins is as many as they managed last season, while they last won more in a single top-flight campaign in 2011-12 (10).
- Following their 4-0 win at Aston Villa last time out, Tottenham are looking to secure back-to-back away league wins for the first time since October. They’ve scored at least twice in each of their last six on the road, only once having a longer run in their league history (10 between April and October 1960).
Fulham vs Tottenham: What has been said?
Spurs boss Postecoglou anticipates a tough game for Spurs against Fulham.
Speaking ahead of the game, he said: “Marco, whatever team he has, has them well organised, and he’s got them scoring some goals recently.
“Their front three are a threat for sure, so there are some obvious strengths there.
“But no different to last week for us. We have to play to our capabilities, but if we do and have that same sort of focus on our football, then we’re going to be hard to stop.”
- Only the current top three sides have scored more Premier League goals this season than Tottenham (59). Their rate of 2.2 goals per game is their second highest in a single Premier League campaign, after 2016-17 (2.3).
- Rodrigo Muniz has been involved in six goals in his last six Premier League games (5 goals, 1 assist), having not scored or assisted in any of his first 10. However, he has started his last six in the competition, having started just three of his first 10.
- Tottenham’s Son Heung-min has been involved in 22 goals in his last 21 Premier League appearances, scoring 14 and assisting eight. The Korean has also had a hand in six goals in his last six London derby matches for Spurs (5 goals, 1 assist).
- Timo Werner has been involved in four goals in seven league appearances for Spurs (2 goals, 2 assists). He’s looking to score in three consecutive Premier League games for the first time, last doing so in league competition in November/December 2019 with RB Leipzig (a run of 7).
