UFC 306 O'Malley vs. Dvalishvili Purse: How much money will the weekend's fighters take home?

The controversial UFC 306 show will be this Saturday, September 14 at The Sphere in Las Vegas, in an event that was in the spotlight because of the dispute with the boxing match between Canelo Alvarez will face Edgar Berlanga.

The UFC has its audience and, although they complained that ticket sales were not what they had hoped for, they have a busy schedule with intense fights headlined by bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley, who will make the second defence of his title against Georgian Merab Dvalishvil.

There will also be another championship on the line, with Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko to close the trilogy for the women’s flyweight belt.

Dana White said it will be an event focused on the Mexican heritage that fills mixed martial arts and promised that UFC will present the biggest night in the history of contact sports, in an event that is organised in conjunction with Riyadh Season: “We have spent more than 20 million dollars.”

The Mexican party includes Grasso, Daniel Zellhuber, as well as Ronaldo Rodriguez, while the prelims will feature Irene Aldana, Manuel Torres, Yazmin Jauregui, Edgar Chairez and Raul Rosas Jr.

How much money will O’Malley vs. Dvalishvili make?

Sean O’Malley (18-1) has seven straight wins and is ranked fourth in the UFC’s pound-for-pound rankings, while Merab Dvalishvili (17-4) is on a 10-fight winning streak, making for an adrenaline-filled bout.

As for earnings, there is no official purse data so as is usually done in these cases, you can have a projection according to their previous earnings, so O’Malley could receive the biggest payday, after according to BetMGM, at UFC 299 he pocketed $2.3 million in his win over Marlon Vera, including his PPV percentage, so it is expected that at UFC 306 he could bring between $2.5 million to $3 million to his coffers.

While Dvalishvili earned against Henry Cejudo $221,000 at UFC 298, his base salary for UFC 306 could be around $300,000, plus bonus, performance and PPV bonuses.
