India national cricket team batter Virat Kohli didn’t live up to expectations during the first Test of the two-match series against Bangladesh.
Virat Kohli was dismissed after scoring a mere six runs in India’s first innings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Thursday, September 19.
Bangladesh fast bowlers Taskin Ahmed and Hasan Mahmud troubled Indian batters with exceptional bowling after winning the toss.
The pacers made the most of the bowling-friendly conditions in Chennai. They managed to pick up three crucial wickets in India’s first innings within the first hour.

Hasan Mahmud took Virat Kohli’s wicket on the second ball of the 10th over. Kohli chased an outside off-stump delivery with hard hands for a big drive away from his body, resulting in a healthy edge.
Wicketkeeper Litton Das completed the simple catch. The Indian team lost their third wicket with 34 runs.
