Travis Kelce calls the guy whose phone was smashed by Jason Kelce a 'f***ing clown' as his brother regrets it

Jason Kelce has addressed an incident where he destroyed a Penn State fan’s phone after the fan directed a homophobic slur at his brother, Travis Kelce. In a video that circulated widely on X on November 2, Jason was seen outside Beaver Stadium for the Penn State-Ohio State game, responding to a man who had insulted Travis.

During the November 6 episode of the New Heights podcast, Jason reflected on the incident, admitting he regretted using the same slur in his response.

    Regretted for his reaction

He expressed his thoughts on the situation and acknowledged his role as a public NFL figure and father of three.

“I’m not happy about the situation, me reacting gave him the time of day and it also gave the situation notoriety,” Kelce said.

“That’s what I regret. It didn’t deserve attention, it’s really stupid. If I just keep walking, it’s a f***ing nothingburger, nobody sees it. Now, it’s out there and it just perpetuates more hate.

“The thing that I regret the most is saying that word to be honest with you… the word he used it’s just f***ing ridiculous and it takes it to another level. It’s just off the wall, f***ing over the line.

“It’s dehumanizing and it got under my skin, it elicited a reaction. In the heat of the moment, I thought ‘Hey, what can I say back to him? I’m going to throw this s**t right back in his face. F**k him’.

“What I do regret, is now there’s a video that is very hateful, that is now online that has been seen by millions of people and I share fault in perpetuating it and having that out there.”
