A report by TMZ, in which they cite legal documents obtained by the new organization, Anna Kane is one of the many suing Diddy for sexual assault. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because she used to be married to NHL star Evander Kane.

Anna Kane married Evander in 2018, but their marriage got off to a rocky start almost immediately. Anna had a miscarriage in early 2019, putting a strain emotionally on the relationship.

The NHL player then saw his gambling addiction get the better of him, as he was sued by The Cosmopolitan casino in Las Vegas later that year. He allegedly walked out on a half-million dollar gambling debt. Although they had a daughter in 2020, Anna ultimately filed for divorce in 2021, the same year she accused him of sexual assault and domestic battery.
Ultimately, the NHL investigated the claims and came to the conclusion that they could not be substantiated. Evander also filed for bankruptcy in January of that year.
