5 Things WWE subtly told us on the go-home episode of RAW before Survivor Series: WarGames

The final episode of RAW before WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 has come to an end. The show ended with a massive brawl that erupted between Team Vision and Team CM Punk after the Men’s WarGames advantage match.

In addition, the show featured the second-round matches of the Last Time is Now tournament. In this article, we will discuss five things WWE subtly told us on the go-home episode of Monday Night RAW before the San Diego Premium Live event.

#5. Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and CM Punk tease for WWE WrestleMania 42

The show kicked off with Roman Reigns making his presence felt. Soon, Cody Rhodes and CM Punk joined the Original Tribal Chief. In the conclusion of the segment, Reigns hinted at his hunt for the World Championship and stated that the title would look better on him.

Though the OTC did not clarify that his statement refers to the Undisputed WWE Champion or the World Heavyweight Title holder. While leaving the ring, Roman laughed and left it to Rhodes and Punk to figure out.

The Head of the Table hinting at a world title chase is a subtly long-term seed plant for WrestleMania 42. WWE could be preparing for a triple-threat showdown between them.

#4. Solo Sikoa wasn’t supposed to win the match

Solo Sikoa and Penta locked horns in the second round of the Last Time is Now tournament. The match ended abruptly when the Masked Man executed a ring-side maneuver, but suffered an injury.

This led to the match getting called off, and Solo eventually emerged as the winner. Penta’s injury appears to be real and has nothing to do with the storyline.

Meanwhile, the match’s ending confirms that Solo wasn’t supposed to win, but due to unforeseen circumstances, he eventually qualified for further rounds.

#3. Gunther is indeed winning the Last Time is Now tournament

Gunther defeated Carmelo Hayes in an impressive bout and qualified for the next round of John Cena‘s final opponent tournament. Melo delivered a performance of his life, but still, this wasn’t enough to put the Ring General down.

The domination of Gunther in the Last Time is Now tournament matches seemingly confirms that he is indeed winning the entire thing. For those unaware, Gunther is already rumored to be the Franchise Player’s final opponent, and with this performance, the chances are realistic.

#2. Rey Mysterio vs Dominik Mysterio for the AAA Mega title down the line

This is pathetic, Dom! 👎 Good luck at Survivor Series on Saturday. You’re gonna need it.

Dominik Mysterio is no longer the IC Champion, but Rey Mysterio and Dom Dom’s feud continues on Monday Night RAW. When the AAA Mega Champion destroyed a mini John Cena on the show, Rey arrived to make the rescue.

Even the Master of 619 emerged victor over JD McDonagh despite the distraction from Finn Balor. All this development indicates that WWE is still planning a Rey vs Dom match, but this time it could be outside the Stamford-based promotion.

As Dominik is the AAA Mega Champion, they might lock horns for the title soon in an AAA event.

#1. Team Vision losing at WWE WarGames?

Team Vision and Team CM Punk engaged in a brawl at the end of WWE RAW. This brawl occurred after Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul defeated The Usos in a WarGames advantage match.

The heel team’s victory in the go-home episode before the PLE could be a subtle hint that they might be losing the actual match. Usually, the star or team that gets the momentum in the go-home episode suffers the loss at the PLE.

This increases the chances that Team Vision will lose at WarGames after winning the advantage match.
