Paint the front of the wood with the chalkboard paint, leaving a few millimeters of the edge exposed. Once it’s dry, stick on the soccer ball decal, then have your child write their name and soccer number to finish it off.

Next, cut out a few small cardboard circles and either draw soccer balls on them or print and glue on tiny soccer ball images. On each side of the box, poke two small holes and stretch a rubber band across. Use a small piece of plastic or another sturdy material to hold the rubber band in place through the holes. Repeat on the other side as these will act as your “kickers” to flick the paper soccer balls back and forth between players.
