November is one of the best months of the year for women’s soccer because most of the leagues around the world are all playing at the same time. The end of the NWSL season overlaps with Europe’s calendar and the international break. We had a load of great goals to choose from, and we’ve whittled it down to the best of the best. Here’s the Top 10 Goals from November.
10. Jaedyn Shaw – Gotham FC

The late-season acquisition of Jaedyn Shaw changed everything for Gotham FC on their run to the NWSL title. Whether it was assists or goals, they would not have won their second title in three years without her. This was the goal that gave them the lead against Kansas City, and the finish was sublime. Kayla Sharples took a gamble on trying to steal the ball, and she missed, which allowed the space for Shaw to take advantage. Sharples recovered pretty well and cut off the angle, meaning Shaw only had the smallest of windows to finish. The young star kept her composure and slotted the ball calmly into the far corner, a special moment from a special player.
9. Katie Stengel – Gotham FC

We just mentioned Jaedyn Shaw and will stick with her as this assist was what helped Gotham pull off the upset over the Kansas City Current. Shaw has her back to goal and managed to flick the ball with the side of her foot to circumvent the entire defense. The ball was now on a platter for Katie Stengel, who still had to keep her nerve in a pressure situation. There’s a defender in her face on a tough angle. The only place Stengel could go is top shelf. Her execution was perfect as the ball clipped the crossbar and went in. Lorena had no chance of saving it, and Gotham’s upset was complete.
8. Kiara De Domizio – Canberra United

Next, we head to Australia for a lovely goal by Kiara De Domizio for Canberra United. The Aussie has been an excellent signing for Canberra since coming over from Western Sydney. Her technique and footwork here are just a joy to watch. As soon as De Domizio settled the ball, she had one thought in her mind: to bend the ball into the far corner. Notice how she gathered her feet and opened her hips up to curl the ball around the keeper. The ball had no choice but to clip off the post and in, a very satisfying goal from Kiara De Domizio.
7. Rose Lavelle – Gotham FC

Rose Lavelle has a knack for scoring clutch game-winning goals in the finals. Of course, she’s done it in a World Cup Final, and now she’s done it in an NWSL Final as well. Bruninha did well to freeze her defender with some stepovers while waiting for her teammates to arrive. Once a few of her teammates made runs in the box, it created the space necessary for Lavelle to run into at the top of the box. Bruninha did well to slide the ball across the box for Lavelle. There wasn’t too much pace on the ball, which allowed Rose the time she needed to square up the shot. The result is a perfectly placed curler into the far corner. Rose Lavelle is as clutch as it gets. You can add NWSL Champion to her resume as well.
6. Ellie Carpenter – Chelsea

Chelsea took on Barcelona in one of the games of the month in the Champions League, and it did not disappoint. Chelsea have tried their hardest to beat Barcelona in this competition, but haven’t been able to do so. This time, they managed to come away with a draw, which felt like a win based on how Chelsea celebrated Ellie Carpenter’s goal. The defender managed to get forward in attack because of her speed, as she always does. Aggie Beaver-Jones did well to play Carpenter in behind after Barcelona pressed too far up the pitch. Carpenter had plenty of time to size up the shot, and rather than go for the far corner, she smashed the ball near post. Cata Coll didn’t have a prayer in saving it, and Chelsea picked up a huge result against a team they’ve had a hard time trying to beat.
5. Alyssa Thompson – Chelsea
Sensational from Thomspon ✨
Introducing your @BarclaysUK Goal of the Month for November, Alyssa Thompson’s super goal for @ChelseaFCW 🆚 Arsenal 🌟⚽#BarclaysWSL pic.twitter.com/UtqwEelFe5
— Barclays Women’s Super League (@BarclaysWSL) November 27, 2025
Alyssa Thompson was catching a lot of flak for her lack of production when she first came into Chelsea’s first team. Well, I think she silenced some of those critics with a goal in a critical matchup against Arsenal. Thompson created the opportunity herself with her pace and dribbling before receiving the ball back from her teammate in the box. Rather than take a touch, Thompson did the unthinkable in the heat of the moment. A chip finish over the keeper from inside the box!? It’s an utterly jaw-dropping goal from Alyssa Thompson. She’ll be just fine in London.
4. Cat Macario – USWNT

Cat Macario cannot stop scoring for the USWNT at the moment, and this goal against Italy was her best of the bunch. Not featured in this clip is Lily Yohannes’s assist to set up Macario, but Macario still had a lot to do. The angle was not favorable for her to go around the keeper; instead, Cat decided to go over the goalie’s head. There’s also a defender in the vicinity; Macario has no other option but to chip the ball, and she executed it to perfection. As soon as she hit it, everyone had one thought: what a goal Cat Macario has just scored.
3. Lineth Beerensteyn – VFL Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg were coming off a 3-1 Champions League loss to Lyon before an important matchup with Manchester United. The German side had one of their best games of the season, beating United 5-2. Lineth Beerensteyn scored an absolute screamer to extend Wolfsburg’s lead. A bad giveaway led to Beerensteyn being gifted the ball. All the Dutch star had to do was run into open space. However, the long-range effort was sublime—a rocket of a shot that nestled into the top corner. Don’t forget about Lineth Beerensteyn, she’s one of the best attacking players in the world.
2. Jaedyn Shaw – USWNT
MY GOODNESS, JAEDYN SHAW 😮💨

— U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team (@USWNT) December 2, 2025
Jaedyn Shaw carried her form from the NWSL Playoffs into the USWNT’s friendlies with Italy in short order. Shaw has rarely been afforded opportunities like this, where she had loads of space to operate. It was almost too easy for Shaw to be able to run onto this ball, take two quick touches to cut inside, and then whip the ball into the far corner. One thing is clear: when Jaedyn Shaw is in good form, she’s unguardable. Good luck trying to stop her.
1. Julia Bartel – Atlético Madrid

— UEFA Women’s Champions League (@UWCL) November 21, 2025
This month’s best goal is a clear-cut winner. While we’ve had some stunners, Julia Bartel’s long-range effort is a goal you have to see to believe. The Chelsea loanee ran onto the ball with her body shape off to the right and managed to generate enough power to lift the ball into the far corner from around 22-23 yards at least. Bartel is one of the best-kept secrets because she’s been with Atletico Madrid this season, but she’s clearly showing that with performances and goals like this, she’s more than ready to go back to Chelsea next season.
