IShowSpeed regrets after trying “weight loss” drink in South Africa, rushes to the bathroom live on stream

YouTube star Darren “IShowSpeed” has gone viral on social media after a video surfaced in which he was seen rushing to the bathroom after trying out a “weight loss” drink in South Africa. On January 8, 2026, a four-minute-10-second video from the streamer’s ongoing African tour, Speed Does Africa, was posted to the r/LivestreamFail subreddit.

The video showed the 20-year-old in a department store, where his attention was drawn to a product that claimed to help people lose weight.

Describing the taste of the product, the content creator said:

“It tastes like green tea, but like, bitter. You’ve ever had, like, medicine?”

While traveling in a car, Darren stated that his stomach “kind of hurted,” and that it was “tweaking.” He then directed the driver to stop the vehicle because he needed to use the restroom, saying:

“Chat, my stomach kind of hurts. My stomach tweaking! No, it was a lose weight drink. (The streamer’s bodyguard asks, ‘Did you just fart?’) I farted two minutes ago, bro. Bro, my stomach hurts for some reason, bruh! Why the f**k do my stomach hurt? Oh, my n****, s**t tweaking, dog. I’m really tweaking. Wait, bro, you might got to pull over. Real s**t. Yeah, I ain’t going to lie, you might have to pull over, on my dead aunt. On my… just pull over! Pull over real quick. Pull over. Bro, I got to s**t! I got to s**t! Why my stomach tweaking like this, dog?!”

IShowSpeed then rushed to a bathroom at a convenience store. Upon his return, when his security personnel asked him if he was okay, the Ohio native responded:

“I’m f**ked, bro. I got diarrhea. It wasn’t solid, bro.”

IShowSpeed was left in shock after receiving a unique art piece from a fan

Another video from IShowSpeed’s Speed Does Africa livestream has surfaced on social media, in which he received a rather unique piece of art from a fan.

In a 39-second video posted by X user @kirawontmiss, a fan gave the YouTube streamer an art piece that appeared to alternate between pictures of him and his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.

IShowSpeed was shocked to see this and exclaimed:

“That’s me and Ronaldo?! Wait, chat, am I tripping? Look! Am I tweaking? It’s me and Ronaldo! How’d you make this? You painted it?! Bro! You want to marry me? Oh, my god!”

IShowSpeed made headlines on December 30, 2025, when he spoke up about his experience in Africa following his first-ever livestream in the country.
