“Why do they do this? Nobody cares lmao I hate this part of every game.”
“What? No one hating on the fact that they showed the Mendoza family multiple times during the game? Where’s all the folks who said showing Taylor Swift at Chiefs games was taking away from the game? Losers, all of you. This is a cool moment for the Mendoza’s!”
Mendoza was unstoppable on the night as he completed 17-of-20 pass attempts for 177 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions.
Former NFL stars warns Raiders to add more weapons for Fernando Mendoza
While Fernando Mendoza‘s stellar college season has made him a coveted quarterback, former NFL star Chad Johnson warned the Raiders, who will potentially select him with the No. 1 pick in the 2026 draft.
“Now that the spotlight is on him, it’s a pressure situation, and you have to show up when it matters most. He played phenomenally. If he’s going to the Raiders based on some of the throws I saw [against the Ducks], where you put some pieces around the quarterback from what I saw on Jan. 9 at the next level, he’s going to be all right.”
Mendoza will be leading the lines for Indiana as the Hoosiers aim to win their first championship against Miami on Jan. 19.
