Several stars returned to WWE in 2025, including Nikki Bella. The former Divas Champion returned to the company for the first time in three years at the 2025 Royal Rumble.
After a one-off return in the 30-woman battle royale, she returned before Evolution 2025 to feud with Liv Morgan, who got injured before the event. However, Nikki Bella’s twin sister, Brie, was also training to return to the company, as was recently revealed in the Nikki and Brie Show.

However, despite training for a potential comeback, Nikki revealed that the call from WWE never came even though she is back regularly on programming.
“I didn’t start training with Kyle (trainer) till a few months before Evolution… you introduced us because you were close with him but you weren’t coming. I felt like you joined a month before Evolution because we were hearing you were going to get a call or something…” Nikki Bella said.
Former WWE star open to one more run before retirement
Former Divas Champion Brie Bella recently spoke about potentially having one more run in WWE before retiring. Bella spoke about her desire to return to wrestling on the Nikki and Brie Show.
“I think there is definitely one last run in me. I’m at the age where I’m strong. I think it’s because I’m working out so hard. But I’m like, there’s for sure a last run in me. But I’m like, where it may take me, wherever it may be, I hope it’s with you, wherever that is at, who knows whether it’s for one night or 200 nights. We’ll see. So I feel like those are fun birthday wishes to see if any of them transpire to 43.”
It remains to be seen whether Brie Bella will ever return to WWE, with her sister being featured prominently on the product.
