    AEW talent reportedly want Tony Khan to sign ex-WWE star to the promotion

    AEW roster members pushed for the signing of a former WWE name, according to the latest report. The star was reportedly backstage in Tony Khan’s promotion recently as well.

    The ex-WWE star, Killer Kelly has reportedly been pushed for an AEW signing by some talents. The 33-year-old star is known for her time in TNA and also had a brief run in the NXT UK under the Stamford-based promotion back in 2018-19. Kelly recently departed the Total Nonstop Action wrestling promotion after her last match last month.

    Amid her free agency, Killer Kelly was backstage during AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage on January 14, 2026. Meanwhile, the latest report by Fightful Select, some of the members on the All Elite roster have pushed for Kelly’s signing with Tony Khan’s promotion. However, the report also said that it had not been told that there were conversations regarding her potential signing.

    Killer Kelly was reportedly backstage during Dynamite: Maximum Carnage, as her fiancé, Myron Reed of ‘The Rascalz,’ also joined the company recently.


    Ex-WWE star announced her TNA departure with a long message

    The ex-WWE star, Killer Kelly recently announced her departure from TNA. Taking to the X social media platform, Kelly announced her exit with the following heartfelt message:

    “My time with TNA has come to an end. I know this is a long time coming, but y’all deserve to read something coming from me. A contract extension was offered, but in the end we’ve decided not to go that route. And that’s totally fine! I love TNA, and my time there was full of ups, and very few downs. I’ve been a part of this amazing team, and I’m really thankful for that, especially for the lifelong friends I’ve made along the way.”

    Killer Kelly also recalled her memorable women’s Dog Collar match in TNA in her long message. Fans will have to wait and see whether the 33-year-old star will be joining AEW amid her free agency.
