But no sanctions have been officially announced yet by the International Cricket Council (ICC). As per the Cricbuzz reports, no ICC board meeting has been held on this matter so far, and the communication between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and ICC is also not clear.
Financial and Legal Risks for PCB
The India vs Pakistan match is the most commercially valuable game in world cricket. Broadcasters and sponsors generate massive revenue from this single game. According to reports, Pakistan could face a potential lawsuit worth up to Rs. 300 crore if it boycotted the match against India.
As per some reports, this clash between arch-rivals is worth around Rs. 4000 crore, which includes broadcasting rights, sponsorships, ticket sales and other commercial activity. If Pakistan boycotts the match, they will lose two crucial points in the group stage.

As of now, the ICC has not received any official communication from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
