The Boston Red Sox have reportedly signed former New York Yankees infielder Isiah Kiner-Falefa on a one-year deal on Wednesday. The veteran infielder spent the 2025 season with the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Toronto Blue Jays.
The 30-year-old started the 2025 season with the Pirates and moved to Toronto after the Blue Jays claimed him off waivers in August. Isiah Kiner-Falefa faced criticism for his base running after he was forced out at home plate trying to score a potential World Series-winning run in the ninth inning of Game 7 against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
