Marseille vs Strasbourg Prediction and Betting Tips | February 14th 2026

Marseille welcome Strasbourg to the Stade Velodrome for a Ligue 1 match this Saturday.

Marseille are currently in 4th, while Strasbourg are 7th, nine points behind. Marseille will be hoping to crack the top three with a win here, while Strasbourg could move into the European qualification spots with a victory.

So which team will come out on top this weekend?

Marseille vs Strasbourg Head-to-Head and Key Numbers

    • Marseille have only won one of their last six games with Strasbourg, although that win did come in their most recent clash. At the Stade Velodrome, though, they are unbeaten in their last 18 matches with Strasbourg.
    • Marseille will enter this match without a permanent manager, as Roberto de Zerbi departed rather suddenly earlier this week. Despite this, last weekend’s admittedly heavy defeat to Paris Saint-Germain was actually their first in Ligue 1 since January 4th.
    • Strasbourg also fell to a defeat last weekend, but it was a far more surprising one. They were beaten 2-1 by strugglers Le Havre, handing Gary O’Neil just his second defeat since taking over the club in the first week of 2026.
    • Regardless of the nature of de Zerbi’s departure from Marseille, nobody can contest that the Italian manager turned his side into a dangerous attacking unit. To date, Marseille have scored 46 goals in Ligue 1, more than any side other than Paris Saint-Germain.
    • The big concern for Strasbourg coming into this game will be their away record this season. They have won just three of their ten matches on the road in the current campaign, with two of those wins coming in the first five weeks. It is worth noting, though, that Gary O’Neil oversaw their best away win, a 1-4 thumping of Lille in January.

    Marseille vs Strasbourg Prediction

Were things more stable at Marseille, it would be easy to predict them to win this game. Their record against Strasbourg at home is excellent, and the visitors have been largely poor away this season.

However, the departure of de Zerbi puts everything into flux, as at the time of writing, Marseille have not confirmed who will take charge of this game.

Despite that, Strasbourg’s last game was hugely disappointing, and whoever takes over Marseille will still be able to call upon a myriad of dangerous attacking talents.

Therefore, the prediction is a home win – but in a tight game.

    Prediction: Marseille 2-1 Strasbourg
