Buying a Skateboard Deck in High on Life 2 allows you to apply brand-new designs to your skateboard. However, to get to the point where you can make purchases, you will have to fight Reptical, the owner of the shop.
In the first mission, you will encounter Reptical, who will try to eliminate you several times. He will first make his appearance when you save Lizzie from the Bounty Hunters. In the nick of time, she will save you from him, only for you to run into him again later in the stage in the game’s story.
When Lizzie kills Reptical, you take his skateboard, thereby unlocking it. When you finally fight him during the second phase, Reptical will quickly come to the realization that he’s in the wrong.
Once this stage is over, you can finally go to his skate shop and purchase a new Skateboard Deck in High on Life 2. On your first visit, Reptical will give you a free Skate Deck as a gesture of goodwill. In order to use it, you need to go to the menu and open the Skateboard tab. This tab allows you to customize decks, wheels, and much more.
Initially, you will likely not have enough credits to purchase any Skateboard Deck in High on Life 2. However, as you make progress in the game and earn credits, you can revisit the skate shop and buy whichever design you prefer. Reptical is now your friend and will not attack you. It’s an interesting twist on an enemy who becomes an ally.
