IN PICS: Will Howard & GF Skyler Skoglund revel in “sweet escape” as IG model soaks the sun & enjoys cocktails in colorful swimsuit at Hawaii

Pittsburgh Steelers rookie quarterback Will Howard is enjoying his time away from the field this offseason. Howard spent time with his girlfriend Skyler Skoglund in Hawaii this week.

Skoglund shared pictures from their outing in an Instagram post on Tuesday. The Instagram model enjoyed the scenic location in a colorful swimsuit by the beach in one of the pictures from the photo dump.

“Our sweet escape,” she captioned the post.

Earlier this month, Skoglund accompanied the Steelers quarterback to the Madden Bowl during the Super Bowl week. She shared pictures from the event in an Instagram post.

    “SB LX weekend,” She wrote.

Howard and Skoglund have been reportedly dating for the last two years. Skoglund shared a heartfelt message for the former Ohio State quarterback after he was selected by the Steelers in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL draft.

“This moment wasn’t luck — it’s years of unseen battles, silent prayers, and unbreakable belief. Proud is an understatement. All in God’s timing,” she wrote. “Let the adventure begin.”

Skoglund attended several Steelers games during Board’s rookie season with the team last year.

Former Steelers quarterback feels Aaron Rodgers’ return will help Will Howard

The Steelers relied heavily on veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers last season as Will Howard didn’t feature in any game, backing odgers and Mason Rudolph for the entire season.

Rodgers’ return to Pittsburgh for the 2026 season remains uncertain. However, former Steelers quarterback Charlie Batch believes Rodgers’ return could help Howard and the Steelers.

“Last year, I don’t think [Rodgers] had a bad season, and he did that with limited help on the offensive side of the ball. But now, being able to add those pieces, you’re bringing an offense that he’s very familiar with that he spent 18 years with, and what better way for him to come in and help the young guy Will Howard,” Batch said.

“I just want to see the transition happen the way that Brett Favre did to Aaron Rodgers, Aaron did that to Jordan Love, and now Aaron can do that with Will Howard.”

Although the Steelers’ quarterback room remains undecided, the former Ohio State standout hopes to move up the depth chart in 2026.
