Pivot now lets you mix things up beyond the standard decals that come with the Switchblade. And, best of all, it won’t cost you anything!
Well, the custom decals are an add-on at no extra cost. However, it will cost you the price of a new Pivot Switchblade.
Regardless, it is still a cool way to make your bike unique, given that you are in the market for a new Switchblade. And why shouldn’t you be? If you like those do-it-all bikes that can get you into trouble just as easily as they can get you out of trouble, the Switchblade is a great choice!

The Switchblade falls somewhere in that “all-mountain” category. Do we still say “all-mountain?” Long-legged trail bike? Mini-enduro? Whatever you call it, the Switchblade has 142mm of rear travel paired with a 160mm fork. Despite the longer travel, the bike pedals and climbs incredibly well thanks to a very supportive and active DW-Link platform.
Also helping the Switchblade’s climbing prowess is what some might say is fairly conservative geometry. The bike is not as slack, not as long, and not as low as other bikes in the category. However, rather than conservative geometry, it seems the geo is just distinctly Pivot. While it may not follow industry trends, the Switchlade performs exceptionally well on technical, janky terrain.

Sort of like the technical terrain you’d find in the Phoenix area, where Pivot is located. Personally, I have a Switchblade in my garage, and if you couldn’t tell, yeah, I’m a fan (Zach is too, shown by the photos above).
New Pivot Switchblade Decals

Currently, the Switchblade frame comes in two colors: Stealth Mojave (black) and Blue Neptune (well, blue). And the decals associated with those two frame colors are white and black, respectively.
Now, Pivot introduces four new special-edition decals: Stranger in the Night, Cotton Candy, Laffee Taffee, and Starry Night. All four decal kits are available on either the Stealth Mojave or Blue Neptune frames.

Pivot professionally installs the kits, and they are only available on complete builds. They aren’t charging anything extra for the special-edition kits, but purchasing a Switchblade certainly isn’t cheap. Pivot offers six builds, with the Switchblade Ride Eagle 70/90 build entering at $6,500.

But you get a fairly solid bike for the price. Fox Performance suspension, SRAM mechanical direct-mount shifting, and SRAM DB8 Stealth brakes. Plus, Pivot’s frame quality is exceptionally high and backed by a warranty.
