Zack Peter has shared his thoughts on theories of Nancy Guthrie being taken to Mexico following her kidnapping. He rued the confusion regarding the entire case and speculated that the 84-year-old might have died.
Nancy Guthrie has been missing since February 1, after she was last seen at her apartment the day before. The local police and the FBI have been on the search, and some recent theories suggest an alleged involvement of a Mexican cartel. While some authorities have denied this theory, the potential of Nancy being taken to Mexico is still being investigated.
Nancy was taken from her house in Tucson, Arizona, which is just around an hour away from the border. Hence, the FBI has reportedly contacted authorities in Mexico regarding the case. Blogger Zack Peter has reacted to these theories in a video on his social media channels, saying:
“It is day 20 and here is your Nancy update. It has been 20 days since the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, and I fear we are headed for a snowstorm, a blizzard is coming. This case has gotten so cold. We have no leads, no rest, no updates.”
“The latest theory is Nancy may be in Mexico. I know what she’s doing in Mexico, sipping margaritas in Cancun. I don’t know. It’s highly unlikely that this is cartel related because I don’t know how many members of the cartel are coming to Tucson to kidnap grandmas,” he added.
Zack Peter claimed that the maintenance people for Nancy Guthrie’s house have been brought back. He added that this could mean that the case “has run its course” and there might not be much evidence available.
Zack Peter offers speculation regarding Nancy Guthrie and Savannah Guthrie
In his video, Zack Peter also claimed that he believes Nancy Guthrie might be dead. He explained that there has been no real update in over 20 days since her disappearance and said:
“Um, where’s Nancy? I don’t know. It’s day 20, and I fear at this point, She may be with the Lord. And that breaks my heart because we’ve been wanting her safe return. We’ve been praying for her every day. But at this point, I don’t know if there’s a happy ending to this story, and it feels like the lack of details and lack of information at this point is starting to feel deliberate.”
Peter also opened up about Savannah Guthrie’s future with NBC. Savannah has been hosting the Today show since 2012, but has stopped since her mother’s disappearance. Her contract with NBC reportedly expires in 2027 and Peter added:
“The Today Show, like, I think this is the 2nd day in a row that they haven’t made this their lead story. There’s been a report that Savannah has no intention or no plans of coming back to the Today Show, so she may be done with that altogether. I don’t know, the whole thing is strange.”
The authorities also released a video from Nancy’s doorbell camera last week. However, there has been no update regarding the masked man, who was seen breaking into the house.
