AJ Lee tells CM Punk to embrace their “throuple” with former WWE Women’s Champion

The March 9 edition of WWE RAW saw a six-woman Gauntlet Match to determine the number one contender for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Bayley won, and it’s official that she will face AJ Lee with the gold on the line next week on the red show.

CM Punk recently took to his official Instagram Story, posting the match graphic of Lee and The Role Model’s showdown in NXT, along with the graphic of their upcoming bout. He wrote, “Uuuh. What am I supposed to do here?!?” expressing his dilemma because of his close relationship with both stars.

For those unaware, Punk is married to The Geek Goddess in real life and is a close friend of Bayley. AJ Lee reposted her husband’s story on her official Instagram handle and asked him to embrace their “throuple” with the Grand Slam Champion.

“You’re supposed to embrace the throuple,” Lee wrote.

Bayley is AJ Lee’s dream WWE opponent

The Black Widow’s dream match is about to come to fruition. In an interview with ESPN, AJ Lee was asked about her dream opponent, and she named Bayley. The Women’s Intercontinental Champion said she and The Role Model shared the ring when she was the Divas Champion. Lee wanted to find out how a match between her and the former Women’s Champion would unfold at this stage of their careers.

“My dream match would be Bayley. I think I’ve gotten to have like one match with her way back in the day when I had the Divas Title. So it would be really cool to see who we both are now, and get my hands on her in the ring,” Lee said.
