iKamper has upgraded their flagship rooftop tent series with the new Skycamp 4.0. It maintains the same vehicle footprint as previous models, but increases interior space through modified geometry and an extended floor panel design. And it’s now available in three configurations: Duo, Trio (new), and Quad sizes.
The Skycamp 4.0 gets several technical updates, including a Duracore fiber-reinforced plastic shell designed for UV and temperature resistance, and BreathWeave high-density polycotton canvas that addresses condensation issues without heavy waterproof coatings.
The ThermaSeal floor system combines lightweight honeycomb aluminum with a cork insulation layer for thermal performance and noise reduction. Interior modifications include increased headroom, larger windows, an expanded skylight, and a wider entrance for improved airflow and access.
Tent weights range from 146 to 194 pounds, depending on size and mattress configuration. Standard foam mattresses are available, with an optional self-inflating air mattress upgrade that combines open-cell foam with air chambers for enhanced support and insulation.
Built-in features include interior lighting and integrated pass-throughs for climate control and electrical connections.
The Skycamp 4.0 series launches in April 2026 through iKamper’s direct sales channels and dealer network in the US and Canada. Pricing starts at $4,415 for the Duo with foam mattress, with the Trio at $4,695 and the Quad at $4,965. Air mattress configurations add $80-130 to base prices across all models.
