Bilibili Gaming started its First Stand 2026 journey with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over LCK’s second seed, FEARX. Mid laner knight was exceptional throughout the series, especially his game five performance using Morgana. Meanwhile, the team’s support, ON, was also brilliant.
That said, Viper stepped up massively during game four and five (using Sivir and Caitlyn), when BLG was on the verge of losing against FEARX. He and ON’s early-game dominance and mid-to-late-game team fights proved too much for FEARX’s botlane duo of Diable and Kellin to handle. However, the overall team play was not entirely clinical.
On the other side, G2 Esports breezed through Vietnam’s (LCP) Secret Whales with a 3-0 scoreline. The biggest gap between the two teams was G2’s jungler, SkewMond. While he carried excellently with Vi and Aatrox in the first two games, he picked Trundle in game three to secure a 27-minute victory.
Nonetheless, the real test for G2 will begin while facing BLG. Since the latter is not currently at the highest level of individual performance and team synergy, there is a good chance the former will defeat the LPL’s top seed (if all G2 players show up in the correct ways).
