No. 2 seed LSU will face No. 3 seed Duke in the Sweet 16 of the 2026 NCAA Tournament on Friday. The March Madness game will tip off at 10 p.m. ET from Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.

According to ESPN, LSU has a 78.8% chance to beat Duke in the Sweet 16 clash. The Tigers are also the favorites due to their better overall seed.

Moreover, of the five experts from the USA TODAY Sports Network, four have predicted that LSU will beat the Blue Devils to advance to the Elite Eight. Only Mitchel Northam has predicted an upset:

Meanwhile, Duke opened its NCAA Tournament with an 81-64 win over No. 14 seed Charleston before getting the better of No. 6 seed Baylor 69-46 in the second round.
