The Charlotte Hornets and Phoenix Suns each have a new franchise leader for three pointers made in a single season.
Kon Knueppel sets a new mark for Charlotte
With his four made three pointers in Thursday’s 127-107 win against the Suns, Knueppel surpassed Charlotte legend Kemba Walker for most three pointers made in a single season.
Walker’s franchise record of 260 made three pointers in a single season was set in the 2018-19 season. Knueppel surpassed it with five regular-season games remaining for the Hornets. Knueppel will enter those final five games with 261 made threes on the season.
