On Thursday, April 2, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office shared bodycam footage of Woods’ arrest last week which was published online by TMZ Sport. During the arrest, officers asked the ace golfer if he needed anything from the flipped Range Rover.

To which the 15-time major champion pointed out at the clubs. The two had an exchange of words about the clubs and the missing putter, where an officer asked if the missing club was the one with which Woods won many times.
“I’ve won 14 majors,” he said, stating that he had been using it since 1999.
Woods then said that Jack Nicklaus was the other who had won more majors with a ‘3-wood or something.’
Further, the officer asked if Woods was going to play in the Masters, to which the five-time green jacket winner replied,

Earlier, Woods was arrested after he refused to give a urine sample despite the breathalyzer giving a 0.00 reading. He denied consuming alcohol but admitted to have taken pills as prescription medication. Besides, he was also found to have two pills of hydrocodone in his pocket.
As per the police, Woods was sweating profusely and was showing signs of impairment. The officers also stated that the veteran was slow and lethargic.

Earlier, the 15-time major champion announced his withdrawal from the Masters 2026 field after months of speculation. Woods is set to miss the game for an uncertain period as he is focusing on his recovery and health. He has also made it clear that he will not lead the USA in the Ryder Cup 2027.
