Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s wife Nathalie gushes over Oneil Cruz’s spouse Lovely’s eye-catching outfit at Pirates vs Orioles game

Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Oneil Cruz has been in the spotlight at the start of the 2026 season. Cruz’s wife Arias Lovely attended his game against the Baltimore Orioles this week.

Lovely attended the Pirates’ series opener against the Orioles at PNC Park on Friday. She shared a glimpse of her stylish outfit for the game in her Instagram post. She wore an all-black outfit and knee-high white boots with Cruz’s name on them.

“Opening Day en casa,” she captioned her post.

Lovely’s post caught the attention of Cruz’s Dominican Republic teammate Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s wife Nathalie. She commented on the post:

“ESO mama.”

Cruz and Guerrero Jr. were part of the star-studded Team Dominican Republic at the 2026 World Baseball Classic last month. They had to contend with the Bronze medal after the loss to Team USA in the semifinal.

Cruz’s wife also shared a picture of the family of four after the game as Cruz’s two sons Oneil and Owen wore a custom t-shirt with the Pirates slugger’s name and number on it.

Oneil Cruz’s defensive struggles in the outfield have been one of the talking points this season. Cruz’s defensive lapses on Opening Day grabbed headlines as reigning NL Cy Young winner Paul Skenes was removed from the game in the first inning.

Cruz was in the spotlight during Friday’s game after he ignored a call from his outfield partner Ryan O’Hearn to catch a fly ball in the fourth inning. Following the game Pirates manager Don Kelly reflected on the miscommunication.

“We need to clean that up as we go through the season because that was a playoff atmosphere today,” Kelly said. “When you play in this loud atmosphere, you got to be loud. We’ve challenged Oneil with taking charge. He’s got an absolute cannon. We just need to continue to communicate.”

Although Cruz’s defensive struggles have drawn backlash from fans, the Pirates outfielder has seemingly made up for it with his plate appearances. Cruz is on a four-game hitting streak and has seven hits in those games.
