Jason Day’s flashy apparel grabs attention as he debuts new sponsorship ahead of Masters

Jason Day caught the people’s attention with his new clothes at the Masters 2026. The Aussie collaborated with TIAA for this week’s event, and on Monday, during a practice round of the tournament, he wore a white T-shirt and a vest with a print of different birds on them.

Golf analyst Josh Carpenter shared an update on Day on his X (formerly Twitter) account with a caption:

“Plenty of discourse around Jason Day’s @malbongolf apparel this week, but he’s also debuting a new sponsorship with TIAA”

Jason Day’s outfit has made headlines for his outfit since he collaborated with Malbon Golf. He opened up about his outfit and said:

“If you are on the course and you are tuned in with nature and know the sounds of birds, you’ll make more birdies. It’s inspired by Native American beliefs. Each one of these birds has a different meaning. I’ve been sending the noises of the birds to Jason for the last six months. Hopefully, he’s trying to stay in touch with nature.”

The 2026 Masters will start with its opening round on Thursday, April 9, and will have its finale on Sunday, April 15, at Augusta National.

Jason Day reflects on his play at Masters 2026

Jason Day is looking forward to his game this week at the Masters. He opened up about his game in a pre-tournament press conference on April 6.

“Game was solid,” Day said. “Just had a nice practice round with Min Woo and Johnny Keefer out this morning on the back side. I’ve been here since last Friday. I got in last Friday, walked around Saturday and Sunday, both back and front, just trying to get used to some of the old feelings that you get around here.

“Just positional-wise where you need to hit it off certain tee locations and obviously into the greens, as well, just trying to make sure the short game is nice and sharp and getting used to the speeds of the greens,” he added.

Day started the campaign at the American Express. He carded four rounds of 63, 71, 67, and 64 to settle in a tie for second place. However, after a good start to the season, he tied for 38th place at the Farmers Insurance Open and then settled in a tie for 24th place at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. He then missed the cut at The Genesis Invitational and the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Jason Day continued to struggle with his form at The Players Championship, where he carded four rounds of 70, 70, 72, and 80 to settle in T59 place. However, he improved his game at the Texas Children’s Houston Open and settled in a tie for sixth place.
