The Texas Rangers are off to an impressive 2-0 start to the 2023 season, and offensively, they’re producing at a rate not seen in over 40 years.
Following a 16-3 blowout win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday, the Rangers have scored 27 combined runs this season. According to ESPN’s Sarah Langs, that’s the second most through two games in Major League history, only three behind the 1951 Chicago White Sox.
The Rangers share the second spot with the Milwaukee Brewers (1978, 1980) and Kansas City Royals (1974).
