    “Hit by the Jimin effect” – From fanboys to security staff, fans react as BTS’ idol’s visuals steal the spotlight during ARIRANG world tour stops

    During a recent stop of BTS’ ARIRANG world tour in Tampa, moments involving Jimin drew widespread attention online, with fans highlighting reactions from event staff present at the venue. Clips and photos circulating on social media showed security personnel positioned near the barricades watching the performance with visible smiles.

    In one instance, two staff members were seen looking at Jimin on stage with smile while the idol passed by interacting with the crowd. Another fan-recorded video captured the idol moving closer to the audience during a performance, briefly kneeling and later exchanging a smile with a nearby security guard, who responded with a wide smile.

    Additional footage showed Jimin engaging playfully with those around him. He was seen placing an arm around a staff member’s shoulder while performing. While security and staff are tasked with maintaining order during large-scale events, such interactions offered a glimpse into the atmosphere at the venue, where even those working appeared momentarily admiring the performance.

Two attendees drew particular attention for their printed T-shirts, which read “World’s Okayest (average) Son Because Jimin Exists” and “World’s Okayest (average) Husband Because Jimin Exists.”

    BTS draw 190,000 fans in sold-out Tampa shows as ARIRANG World Tour heads to Mexico City

    Jimin is currently touring with BTS as part of their ongoing ARIRANG World Tour. The group recently concluded the Tampa leg of their North American run with three concerts held on April 25, 26, and 28. These shows were BTS’ return to live stages in the United States after nearly four years.

    All three nights drew full-capacity crowds, with an estimated total attendance of around 190,000, as reported by STARNEWS. Tickets for each date had sold out ahead of time. After Tampa, the tour moved to Sun Bowl Stadium, in El Paso, Texas where BTS performed on May 2 and 3.

    Next, the group is scheduled to continue in Mexico City, with concerts set for May 7, 9, and 10 at Estadio GNP Seguros. The ARIRANG World Tour is set to span over 85 shows across 34 cities in 23 countries, covering key regions including North America, Asia, and Europe.
