Hayden Senger is a catcher for the New York Mets. The NL East teams selected him in the 24th round of the 2018 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut for the Mets on 2025 Opening Day.
Sengar was born on April 3, 1997, in Hamilton, Ohio. He has been married to his wife, Ryann Sherman, since Dec. 3, 2022.
Sengar marked their first wedding anniversary with an Instagram post on Dec. 3, 2023. The post featured six pictures, with the first two being from their wedding day.

Ryann was born in February 1997. She attended Lakota East High School with Senger and graduated in 2015. Senger posted a group picture after high school graduation on Instagram.

Senger has been friends with Ryann since February 2015. He started dating her possibly on Valentine’s Day 2018. He marked their first anniversary with a nine-snap Instagram post.
“Four years of friendship turned one year of dating. To many more years with my best friend: I love you, Ry. (even with your pigtails),” he captioned the post.
Sengar proposed to Ryann after three years of dating. He popped the big question at Love Street, Jupiter. He shared pictures from the special moment on Instagram in March 2022.
“A moment I’ve been dreaming of for a very long time. If you’re gonna ask me what I said while I was on a knee.. please don’t!😂 I was way too excited to say real words but I got the important question out and thankfully she said yes. I love you, Ryann and I’m so happy I get to spend forever with you. ❤️💍,” he captioned the post.
The next phase of their relationship began in April. The couple announced through Instagram that they are expecting a child in October.

Hayden Senger’s wife, Ryann Sherman, is a healthcare professional in Nashville, Tennessee, per her LinkedIn. She began her academic journey at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition sciences between 2015 and 2019.
Ryann enrolled at Trevecca Nazarene University following graduation to pursue a Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from 2019 to 2021. She worked as a physician’s assistant during this time.
Ryann worked part-time as a physician’s assistant at Meharry Medical College from November 2021 to July 2022. She also worked part-time at The Little Clinic in Nashville during this time.
Ryann’s full-time role began with the Vanderbilt Integrated Providers as a pediatric physician assistant. She has been working there since March 2023.
