    WWE star Sheamus has sparked conversation in the wrestling world with his reported exit, drawing a response from many, including former announcer Samantha Irvin.

    The Celtic Warrior has been a part of the Stamford-based promotion for nearly two decades, signing with them back in 2007. Over the years, he carved out one of the most successful resumes in WWE, winning four World Championships, multiple other titles, and accolades such as the Royal Rumble, Money in the Bank, and King of the Ring.

    However, a recent report stated that Sheamus was parting ways with WWE, with his contract set to expire, and that he turned down an extension after being offered a restructured deal. Moreover, his profile has been shifted to the Alumni section, and he himself has reverted to his real name on his social media accounts.

    Furthermore, the former WWE Champion’s departure news has attracted reactions from many, including Samantha Irvin. AEW star Ricochet’s wife took to X to say that Sheamus is one of her absolute favorite stars to watch and expressed gratitude for his contributions to her life.

    Samantha Irvin’s husband teased her AEW arrival

    Samantha Irvin left World Wrestling Entertainment in 2024, and her husband, Ricochet, had left the promotion months earlier before joining AEW. The former National Champion hinted at Irvin’s arrival to the Jacksonville-based promotion, saying that they easily get reactions out of fans on social media and could do the same in All Elite Wrestling.

    “She [Samantha Irvin] and I have chemistry together. I think whether it’s good or bad, we’ll be able to get reactions out of people. We’ve already proven we can get reactions out of people off of little to nothing. A heel Samantha on camera—she’s been an actress her whole life […] I’m excited to see it, and excited for the world to see it too. Who knows if that’s going to be this year, next year, or whenever,” he said.

    With Irvin’s two-year ban from joining other wrestling promotions still in effect after leaving the TKO-led company, it remains to be seen if she will join AEW after it is over.
