Ashen Valkyrie is a reward from the Summer Capsule available in the Summer Event shop. A single capsule costs 10 Summer Currency, which you can get by completing the associated event mode.
From the Summer Capsule, you can only get the Ashen Valkyrie and Azuron characters. The two have a collective drop rate of 1.5% (0.75% each), and a 200 pity. The pity meter ensures that you receive either Ashen Valkyrie or Azuron after opening the 200th capsule, provided that you didn’t receive any of them already.
Etherealization Shards, Trait Rerolls, Stat Locks, Stat Rerolls, Gems, and Gold are other items that can be claimed from the Summer Capsule. You can also obtain Shiny variants of Ashen Valkyrie and Azuron, both having a 10% drop rate. Shiny Azuron has a limited stock of 125,000 copies.

You can evolve Ashen Valkyrie into Ashen Valkyrie (Ignition) in Universal Tower Defense Z. Acquire the following items, select the unit in the Evolutions menu, and then hit the Evolve button.

- On attack, this unit applies Burn for 60% Damage over 6 ticks, and +10% “Energy Charge [or +20% on Etherealization 4].

- The Transformed Ashen Valkyrie applies Burn for 50% damage over 3 ticks to all enemies in range. She also has +100% Damage and 10% SPA.
- When attacking an enemy with Burn while Transformed, the unit does a Follow-up Attack for 100% Damage and applies Burn for 30% Damage over 5 ticks.
Core Overload
- When an enemy recovers from Fire Break, the unit instantly deals 20% Damage [or 40% on Etherealization 6] and +20% Elemental Damage (cap: +40%).
- On Stun or Debuff: The Debuff will last 100% longer and the unit will receive +20% Effect Resistance (cap: +100%).
