WWE called out a popular on-screen couple for their public displays of affection. The Stamford-based promotion shared a message directed at the couple on social media.
After months of teasing, Maxxine Dupri officially aligned herself with Austin Theory and joined forces with The Vision on the July 6 edition of Monday Night RAW. She helped Theory and Bron Breakker defeat The Street Profits and win the World Tag Team Championship.

The couple’s public display of affection has become one of the most talked-about and controversial aspects of The Vision’s storyline on the red brand’s show. WWE’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle recently posted a video of the faction’s backstage interview with Cathy Kelly and noted that the interaction between Maxxine Dupri and Austin Theory during the conversation was making everyone uncomfortable.

Wrestling personality wants Maxxine Dupri to end her WWE on-screen relationship with Austin Theory
Speaking on The Last Word podcast, TNA host Gabby LaSpisa shared an intriguing pitch for Maxxine Dupri going forward.
LaSpisa proposed that Maxxine Dupri should dump Austin Theory and join forces with WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman instead. Gabby LaSpisa noted that The Oracle would take her out of The Vision and then establish her as a massive star. She added that the Stamford-based promotion’s women’s division needs more stars.
“Here’s a shot in the dark about something that would garner my interest. Who’s the one person Heyman has complimented at all in the past few weeks? Maxxine Dupri. How f**king girl boss would it be for Maxxine to dump Austin Theory and be like, ‘I got a new man who’s helping me and I’m going to be the star and it’s Paul Heyman. Paul Heyman takes Maxxine out of the Vision and makes her the star of the women’s division. He comes out with her. Omg! How exciting that would be? Someone who needs it is Maxxine, someone I think has star written all over her, if booked correctly, is Maxxine. And that makes her a strong woman, who is like, ‘I’m over you. Thanks for everything, but Heyman likes me, I’m going with him.’ Build a star like that. The women’s division needs it more than ever, especially right now,” LaSpisa said.
Although Maxxine Dupri has been making regular appearances on WWE programming, she has yet to wrestle a match on Monday Night RAW. It will be interesting to see when the former Alpha Academy member makes her return to the squared circle.
