Rohit Sharma has made a stunning comeback in the second ODI between India and West Indies after failing to convert his good start into a big score in the first ODI. Rohit Sharma has already smashed a stunning fifty and has reached another huge milestone in his ODI career.

Rohit Sharma becomes third Indian to score 12,000 ODI runs
Rohit Sharma has achieved several milestones during the ongoing second ODI between India and the West Indies in Guwahati. Roston Chase bowled a slower delivery across him, and Rohit nudged it towards the mid-wicket region before completing the single.
With this, Rohit has become only the third Indian batter to score 12,000 runs in ODI cricket, joining two of the greatest ODI batters of all time, Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli. The Hitman has also become the second-fastest batter to reach 12,000 ODI runs, achieving the landmark in 282 innings.
Kohli remains the fastest player in the world to reach 12,000 ODI runs having reached the milestone in 242 innings. The Indian icons were followed by Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting, Kumar Sangakkara, Sanath Jayasuriya and Mahela Jayawardene.

The Hitman’s other fastest ODI hundreds came off 76 balls against England in Cuttack in 2025, 82 balls against England in Nottingham in 2018, and 83 balls against New Zealand in Indore in 2023.
Most ODI Sixes in a Country
