Harry Kane continues to hunt down Alan Shearer’s record.
The Tottenham Hotspur talisman moved into second place on the Premier League’s all-time scoring list, netting the lone goal in Saturday’s win over Crystal Palace to bring his career tally to 209 in England’s top flight.
Kane surpassed Wayne Rooney in the process and now trails only Shearer, who set the current benchmark by finding the net 260 times during his prolific career.
