Elsewhere this morning, the England Under-21 squad has been announced for their Euro 2023 campaign this summer, but there is no room for treble-winner Rico Lewis.
The 18-year-old Man City defender made 23 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s first-team this season, including two in the Champions League and 14 in the Premier League.
But he is a surprise omission from manager Lee Carsley’s side, which also features just one recognised out-and-out striker.
With Folarin Balogun switching his international allegiance to the United States and Rhian Brewster injured, it means Aston Villa youngster Cameron Archer is the only frontman in the squad.
But Carsley will have plenty of top flight experience and talent to call upon at the tournament, with Emile Smith Rowe, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, Morgan Gibbs-White, Oliver Skipp and Anthony Gordon among the 23-man squad gunning for glory.
The Young Lions head to Romania and Georgia hoping for a first European Championship success since 1984 and begin their campaign against the Czech Republic in Georgia on June 22.
