Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has admitted his previous love of Liverpool, though he has since outgrown them.
And to illustrate his point perfectly, he made the case that he used to love Happy Days – but there are no posters of The Fonz on his wall anymore.
The Spurs boss revealed that he was a fan of Liverpool growing up in Melbourne, Australia.
Tottenham are set to face the Reds on Saturday afternoon in a top-billed clash with neither side tasting defeat so far in the Premier League this season.
Postecoglou said: “It was the 70s. You went one or two ways. They only used to show Liverpool or Manchester United back then.
“I had a couple of mates who went the United way so I went with Liverpool to make it interesting.
“Like any kid, I had the posters up on the wall. Liverpool was my team, but you grow up, things change.
“I used to love Happy Days. But I don’t have posters of The Fonz on my wall now. That’s how it goes.”
It is just another quip from the Tottenham boss that has made fans fall in love with the Aussie coach, and he had another zinger for one FPL-obsessed reporter.
The Spurs manager was asked whether he should put James Maddison in his FPL side amid fears he will not be fit to face Liverpool on Saturday.

Postecoglou replied: “Mate you can do whatever you like. It’s of zero interest to me.”
Liverpool and Tottenham are both unbeaten in the Premier League and have scored 15 goals each.
It sets up a fine contest between two managers who are adored by their respective set of fans.
And Postecoglou can count Jurgen Klopp among them, as well, after the Reds boss admitted he could not wait to meet him.
The German coach said: “Spurs is a tough test, we’ve not played an easy game yet, away at Newcastle, Chelsea really tough. All aways have been tough.
“Spurs doing well, Ange seems a top bloke, looking forward to meeting him. I think [fans] were all desperate for offensive football, he’s doing it.”
