Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham: Son-aldo
Tottenham losing Harry Kane in the summer sent the fans into crisis mode but Ange Postecoglou had the solution ready in waiting.
Spurs have more goals at this stage of the campaign than they did with Kane and a large part of that is due to Heung-min Son.
Son has largely deputised as a centre-forward this term but returned to the left-wing against Newcastle following Richarlison’s return.
Playing outwide again did little to reduce the South Korean’s output, with Son adding another goal while grabbing two assists on Sunday.
Son has now been involved in 14 goals in his last 13 Premier League games, scoring 10 and assisting four.
Only Erling Haaland (8) has scored more away goals than the Tottenham captain so far this season (7).
Hello and welcome!
Nottingham Forest will bid to alleviate the pressure on manager Steve Cooper when they face a reinvigorated Tottenham tonight.
Forest’s 1-1 draw at Wolves last weekend moved the club five points clear of the relegation zone but Cooper remains under threat.
The Tricky Trees boss has overseen a run of just one win in 12 games, with their Molineux stalemate coming off the back of a 5-0 hammering to Fulham.
Tottenham, meanwhile, returned to winning ways after their own difficult period as they smashed Newcastle 4-1 to cement fifth spot.
The north London outfit previously became the first team to score first in five successive Premier League games but fail to win one.
Spurs now have the chance to move level on points with fourth placed Manchester City with another victory, live on talkSPORT.
