The Chicago Bears have the first pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and therefore hold the keys to how everything will unfold in the first round and beyond. The biggest choice they must make is whether or not they will stick with incumbent quarterback Justin Fields following his breakout 2022 campaign or select Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud or some other signal-caller with the top pick. If a recent report is accurate, it would appear that Chicago will, in fact, try and trade back. It makes sense to give Field some runway as the Chicago front office tries to turn around a franchise that has been to the postseason just three times since its last Super Bowl appearance in 2006.
