Premier League form table after midweek Arsenal & Liverpool wins

Manchester United and Manchester City remain the Premier League’s two most in-form teams after the midweek round of fixtures.

The Red Devils have collected 23 points from a possible 30 under Erik ten Hag, three more than what Pep Guardiola’s title-chasing City have achieved in that time.

Arsenal‘s 4-0 win over Everton means it’s six wins from ten for Mikel Arteta and his troops, while Brentford‘s impressive run of unbeaten form now spans 11 games – five wins and five draws in their last ten coming with a marginally better goal difference than the Gunners.

Fulham have chalked up six wins in their last ten – they are also through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup – while Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton have five loads of maximum points and an impressive 20 goals under their belt.

Newcastle‘s form has dwindled slightly, though Eddie Howe’s side have only sampled defeat once in their last ten outings – the home defeat to Liverpool that cost Nick Pope a place in the Carabao Cup final.

Liverpool‘s 2-0 win over Wolves at Anfield means it’s five wins from ten for last season’s title chasers – a run that has got them back into the mix for a top four finish.

Tottenham, meanwhile, seem to have found the winning formula under Cristian Stellini – that formula being no Antonio Contes allowed on the touchline. They have five wins and a draw to their name from their last ten, and so do Unai Emery’s Aston Villa.

Nottingham Forest‘s burst of wins sees them sitting in the mid-table form bracket alongside Wolves, but it continues to be grim reading for Graham Potter and Chelsea. Just 14 goals have been scored in the last ten games involving the Blues – six in their favour and eight against.

Leicester‘s inconsistency has seen them chalk up six defeats in ten, despite the continued good form of James Maddison.

West Ham‘s 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest at the weekend marked just the second time in ten games that David Moyes had picked up all three points.

Any kind of win will do for Crystal Palace at the moment – they are now sitting on one win in their last ten and no wins in 2023. Bournemouth‘s indifferent form has seen just eight points scooped up from a possible 30, but that’s still better than what Leeds have offered in the same time period.

Everton leaked a truck load at Arsenal to really spoil their goal difference, while Southampton prop up the form standings after being defeated in eight of their last ten.
