Is Lamar Jackson joining Twitch? Ravens QB drops hint on Twitter

Baltimore Ravens and quarterback Lamar Jackson are yet to agree on a contract extension, but Jackson isn’t disturbed by it and still has faith in whatever the future holds for him.

The Ravens quarterback has been active on all social media platforms lately, and he recently hinted to his supporters that he might join streaming platform Twitch.

Numerous other NFL players like Tyreek Hill, Cam Newton, and Sauce Gardner already stream games on a regular basis, so Jackson doing so will benefit both him and his fans.

While his contract negotiations will undoubtedly be completed sooner or later, the quarterback can take a break from all the drama around him and engage in direct conversations with his fans, much like Sauce Gardner does on his Twitch streams.

As seen in his tweets and stories on Instagram, Jackson doesn’t carry a fake persona around him and remains real. This will undoubtedly entice many to tune into his streams, and he, like other athletes, will be able to construct his own kingdom in a new field.

There have been no new updates regarding Jackson’s situation with the Baltimore Ravens as both he and the franchise are quite far away from reaching an acceptance point in the negotiations.

Although both John Harbaugh and Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta have stated their desire to keep Jackson at any cost, no one knows whether the quarterback will remain in Baltimore in the long run.

#Ravens GM Eric DeCosta says he’s having ongoing discussions with Lamar Jackson and remains optimistic. They have not made a decision on which franchise tag they’ll use.“We want Lamar here. We want him back. Living in a world without a quarterback is a bad world to live in.”

Several franchises have already expressed interest in trading for Lamar Jackson if he becomes available, as everyone knows what a dynamic player he is. There has been some concern about Jackson’s health, but when he plays, the Ravens appear to be real Super Bowl contenders.

Last season, Jackson played 12 games, in which he had a passer rating of 91.1 with 2,242 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions. He also rushed for 764 yards and three rushing touchdowns.

It will be intriguing to see what the Ravens do with Lamar Jackson, especially because they need to act quickly. His value is rather high right now, but as we get closer to next season, teams will be less inclined to provide a large trade package because they can sign him in free agency.
