The expert added that Kate has come a long way since her first BAFTA event in terms of confidence and self-assurance.

“After the awards, Kate and William went on to meet the winners from the night,” said Darren Stanton on behalf of Betfair Bingo. “Unlike previous occasions, where the two used to be joined at the hip and relying on each other’s presence for confidence, they aren’t afraid to interact with the public by themselves.”

Stanton also pointed out that William’s body language was slightly submissive during one interaction, which conveyed respect and acknowledged his status as a prince.

In contrast, Kate appeared extremely engaged and open while meeting various celebrities, displaying genuine joy in her interactions.

“Kate is clearly extremely comfortable in these situations,” said Stanton. “She’s an extremely confident person now and has the self-assurance to talk to anyone, including the biggest movie stars.”

Overall, it seems that Kate has grown into her role as Princess of Wales and is becoming a significant member of the royal family in her own right. It will be interesting to see how the couple continues to navigate their roles in the years to come.
