Teniya Morant was born on Feb. 16, 2005. She is the daughter of Tee and Jamie Morant and is the only sibling of Ja Morant. The young basketball star grew up in Dalzell, South Carolina with her family.
Both Teniya and Ja have worked out with their father, Tee, and he’s had a huge influence on both of them.
Teniya has also praised her brother and his incredible basketball skills. However, she doesn’t want to be compared to the Memphis Grizzlies superstar all the time.
“What he does, yeah I’m proud of him,” Ja Morant’s sister said. “But he’s him, and I’m me. I don’t want people to compare me to him just because he’s him. I mean, yeah we work out together, but I’m still my own person at the end of the day.”
