The TATA IPL 2023 witnessed a fun game on the eve of April 4. The Gujarat Titans locked horns with the Delhi Capitals as the IPL returned to Kotla after two long years. Both teams looked equally fierce during the game. But the Gujarat Titans had the last laugh. The top performers from the game were Rashid Khan and Mohammed Shami with the ball for the Titans and David Miller and Sai Sudarshan with the bat.

Sai Sudarshan is a new name in this list of run-scorers. The Tamil Nadu batter was very impressive in the two games that he played. Sai scored decent runs on both occasions. Sai was fortunate enough to be named the second impact player ever in the history of the TATA IPL in the first game of TATA IPL 2023. Sudarshan understands the game situation well and plays accordingly. He got a gritty 50 in the game against the Delhi Capitals in TATA IPL 2023. When all other batters were struggling to middle the ball, Sudarshan was timing it to perfection.

Rashid Khan is the latest addition to this list of wicket-takers. But like every year he is one of the contenders for the purple cap. Khan bowled exceptionally well against the Delhi Capitals. His spell broke the backbone of the Capitals. He got the big wickets of Sarfaraz Khan and Aman Khan. Rashid bowled to his strength. He did not try to mix and match. He tried to keep the ball away from the batters’ arc in TATA IPL 2023. The wicket of Sarfaraz Khan flipped the game in the favor of the Titans completely.
