The reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors had an up-and-down regular season: dominant at home but abysmal in away games, leading them to just narrowly miss falling into the Western Conference play-in tournament. One bright spot for the Dubs was the return to form for Klay Thompson. After sitting out most of the last three regular seasons, the four-time champ not only made it through the season unscathed, but he hit a career-high 301 threes, becoming just one of three players in league history to have 300 or more makes in one season. While that’s all well and good, Klay and the Warriors now must head into the first round of the playoffs and face the upstart Sacramento Kings as they try to get back-to-back rings for the second time in franchise history.
