Bayern chiefs fly in for more Kane talks ahead of possible £86million transfer

Bayern Munich are reportedly taking further steps to sign Harry Kane by flying two chiefs to London for new talks.

With just one year left on his deal, the 29-year-old, who turns 30 on Friday, has been linked with a move away from Spurs this summer.

Manchester United have previously been keen to sign the striker, but talkSPORT understands they are unlikely to revive their interest.

Over in Germany, Bundesliga giants Bayern have identified Kane as a key target in their quest to finally replace Robert Lewandowski.

Club president Herbert Hainer recently said: “Bayern always try to bring in stars.

“Kane is a highly attractive player, the England captain and a top scorer. He would do us and the Bundesliga good.”

Thomas Tuchel’s side have already seen two bids rejected by Spurs, but this has not deterred them from continuing their pursuit.

As reported by The Telegraph, two Bayern executives have travelled to London to hold fresh talks with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.

CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and technical director Marco Neppe are leading the discussions with the north London club.

Kane is said to be open to a move to Bayern if they are able to reach an agreement with his current club in their negotiations.

Bayern are claimed to be willing to spend up to £86million on him, but could also get him to sign a pre-contract agreement in January.

Given how crucial he is to Spurs and his lethal prowess in front of goal, the striker is valued at £100million.

Owner Joe Lewis is also keen for them to sell Kane this summer rather than losing him for free next year.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been credited with an interest, but it is believed that Kane does not want to make the move to France.
