Now under Ange Postecoglou, Spurs didn’t take long to show their attacking threat away at the Bees.

They won a free-kick on the left hand side of the area and James Maddison whipped it in and onto the head of Romero.

After a check for offside by VAR the goal was given and the defender had cause for celebration.

However, he was substituted off by Postecoglou just seconds later after he appeared to take a knock to the head in the goal.
