Through two weeks of the 2023 NFL season, Los Angeles Rams rookie Puka Nacua is taking the league by storm. Selected in the fifth round out of BYU, the rookie wideout has made the most of Cooper Kupp’s absence, racking up a league-leading 25 catches for 266 yards. Those 25 receptions also set the mark for the most through a player’s first two games of his career. Nacua is on pace for a mind-boggling 212 catches right now, so you’d have to imagine he slows down at some point, especially when Kupp returns in a few weeks. Regardless, for a team that notoriously does not value its draft picks, the Rams front office has seemingly struck gold early on in the season.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. In NFL history, 32 players have had 70 or more catches in their first season in the league, with Nacua almost certain to become No. 33 if he stays healthy. So with that in mind, how many NFL players with the most catches as a rookie can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
