It took a moment of magic from Julian Alvarez to separate Manchester City and RB Leipzig in Wednesday’s 3-1 win for the Premier League club.
With the two sides tied after goals from Phil Foden and Lois Openda, Alvarez stepped up with a curling strike from the edge of the box in the 84th minute to give the visitors the edge.
The strike ultimately helped end Manchester City’s two-game losing streak in all competitions before Jeremy Doku scored an insurance goal in injury time.
