Brentford and Domino’s team up to troll Chelsea after dismal Stamford Bridge defeat

Brentford and Domino’s both piled on the misery for Chelsea fans after they fell to their fourth Premier League defeat of the season.

The Blues were beaten 2-0 at the hands of the Bees in what was a hugely disappointing result for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Chelsea dominated in terms of chances but, once again, they were unable to take them and find the back of the net.

Noni Madueke came closest when his strike hit the crossbar, and despite the efforts of Cole Palmer, the Blues failed to score.

The result is Brentford’s third consecutive win at Stamford Bridge since they were promoted to the Premier League in 2021.

Thomas Frank’s Bees were quick to revel in their success as they took to X and said: “Winning at Stamford Bridge is what we do.”

Pizza giants Dominos also wanted a slice of the action as they posted: “don’t make us start the counter again.”

This was in reference to a giant screen they placed outside Fulham’s home of Craven Cottage before their clash that displayed how many pizzas they had sold since Chelsea last scored in the Premier League.

Luckily for the Blues that night they won 2-0 thanks to goals from Mykhailo Mudryk and Armando Broja.

This was followed by a 4-1 victory away at Burnley before a 2-2 draw with Arsenal, arguably their best performance of the season.

However, their run of form came to an end on Saturday when fellow west Londoners Brentford won all three points at Stamford Bridge.

Ethan Pinnock’s header and Bryan Mbeumo’s open goal finish saw the Bees capitalise on Chelsea’s wastefulness in front of goal.

It leaves the Blues 11th in the Premier League after 10 games with just three wins to their name.

Should they continue to pick up poor results, then Chelsea could well be the subject of more online banter.
